Apollo 4, 5 and 6. The launch of unmanned vehicles to see if the design was good and to see if make sure of safety of humans in space.
Apollo 7. The first craft of the Apollo project to put humans in space.
Apollo 8. First ship with humans in it to orbit The Moon.
Apollo 9. A demonstration of equipment in low orbit of the Earth.
Apollo 10. A mission that did mostly everything except land on the service of The Moon
Apollo 11. The first time humans ever landed on The Moon!
Apollo 12, 13, and 14. Exploring The Moon along with more demonstrations of landing.
Apollo 15, 16, and 17. A mission made to study The Moon on its surface and from orbit.
There was also a Apollo 1 however it was not named that at first. It was the first test of getting humans to The Moon however it never flew. While the crew was practicing to launch a cabin fire killed all three of them the mission was then renamed Apollo 1 after their families requested it.
