Halo 3 ODST is coming to the Master Chief Collection on PC on September 22. Along with that ODST’s Firefight which was originally not in MCC will now be added.

Halo MCC will have a new update soon that will add: Halo 3 ODST to the MCC on PC, Halo 3 ODST firefight, Silenced SMG to Halo 3, Silenced pistol to Halo 3, Brute Plasma Rifle for Halo 3, the Battle Rifle to Halo 3 ODST, plus some vehicles that weren’t in Halo 3 ODST but were in Halo 3 are being added. Along with that we are also getting fixes for Halo 3 where hits wouldn’t register, a issue that came from the original game in 2007. Because the Halo 3 ODST weapons are being added to Halo 3, Halo 3 has gotten a new mode called recon slayer along with its cousin swat recon slayer. Me and nearly everyone else in the Halo Insider program have been able to test out this update early and it has been a lot of fun and there have been no issues that I could find.
