A new enemy is introduced to Halo.

Heckler and Koch, encouraged by the G3 rifle and its success decided to make a family of firearms with four different types of guns. All of which used the G3’s layout and were similar in function. The MP5 came in the last group of weapons. The MP5 was first worked on in 1964 and two years after that it was used by the German Federal Police for border guards and special forces. The MP5A1 was introduced in the late 1960’s and was the first model of the MP5 to have what would become its iconic sights. In 1974 the MP5SD was introduced and was a suppressed versions of the MP5. The MP5SD was used in Vietnam by the Green Berets. In 1980 the Iranian Embassy in Britain was taken over by terrorist. The terrorists had several hostages and were making demands that the UK government didn’t want to give into or couldn’t. They finally had the SAS go in and take the Embassy. It was during the storming of the Embassy that the MP5 became seen as what it is today. Live on television the SAS rescued the hostages and killed 5 of the terrorists. The SMG was used by American SWAT teams after that but was mostly replaced by AR-15 like rifles after the late 1990’s North Hollywood shootout.

Australia has some very interesting animals. Today I will be covering three of them: the Tasmanian Devil, Dingo, and Koala.

I will begin with the Tasmanian Devil. The Tasmanian Devil is a carnivorous marsupial that only lives on the island of Tasmania. The Tasmanian Devil became the largest carnivorous marsupial after an animal named theThylacine died out. It can run at 8.1 MPH for short distances and has  white markings on its chest. However 16 percent don’t have any markings. Male Tasmanian devils are on average 25.7 inches long with a 10.2 inch tail and usually weigh 18lb. Females are usually 22 inches long with a 9.6 inch tail and an average weight of 13lb. Devils in western Tasmania are smaller than the devils in other parts of Tasmania.There have been a few exceptions but that is the general rule. They will be fully grown by the time they are 2 years old and Wild devils live for an average of 5 years. The oldest recorded Tasmanian Devil was 7 years old before he died. Tasmanian Devils can hunt small Kangaroos but they prefer to eat carrion.

Next is the Dingo. The Dingo is a medium-sized dog that lives on the mainland of Australia. They can be very tame if they are around humans for a good portion of their time. However they do sometimes attack humans. Most attacks are minor and are usually because people tried to feed them. There have been exceptions though. For example a child that was two months old was killed by Dingos while on a camping trip. Her body was never found. Dingos are sometimes kept as pets, but this is sometimes criticized as it leads to the decline of pure Dingos. An average captive male Dingo is 54 inches long, 22 inches tall at its shoulder, and weighs 42lb. The average captive female is 52 inches long, 21 inches tall, and weighs 36lb. Wild Dingos tend to be smaller than their captive counterparts because they have to hunt for food. A wild Dingo male is on average 49 inches long, 23in tall at its shoulder, and weighs 35lb. The average female wild Dingo is 48in long, 22in at its shoulder, and weighs 31lb. Dingoes in the wild will usually live for 3-5 years but there are a few who live to 7-8 years. Even rarer are the very few who live to 10 years. Captive Dingos live longer with an average life of 14-16 years with at least one Dingo living till it was just a little younger than 20 years old.

Finally there is the Koala or as some people like to call it the Koala Bear. It is a marsupial that lives in South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales. It is the only member of the family Phascolarctidae as all of its other members are extinct. Their closest living relative is the Wombat. The Koala has a body length of 24-33 inches long and usually weighs 9-33lb. Koalas usually eat the leaves from eucalyptus trees but will eat certain other leaves. They don’t have to drink much water since they get most of it from eucalypt trees. Because they only eat leaves they have to sleep or rest for 20 hours a day. They usually are active at night and spend most of their time awake eating. In the wild Koalas live for an average of 13-18 years. Koalas have very few predators, but they are attacked by Dingoes, Pythons, Wedge-Tailed Eagles, and large owls.

This was one of the games wih Gold this month for the Xbox One so I figured I would check it out its actually kind of fun. I’ll probably do a review once I finish the campaign.

The R-301 Carbine is a full automatic assault rifle in Apex Legends that uses light rounds.

The R-301 is manufactured by Lastimosa Armory and was commissioned for use by the IMC. As some of you may know the R-301 is the successor to the R-101 and R-201 from Titanfall 2. The IMC wanted the gun improved due to problems with the gun that caused misfires and for the gun to sometimes not feed bullets properly. The R-301 is now used by the Syndicate in the blood sport called the Apex Games.

The R-301 is a very reliable early weapon at medium range and close range. However at long range the weapon tends to be almost impossible to hit enemy targets thanks to high vertical recoil. This can be help by adding a barrel stabilizer or by changing the weapon to its single shot firing mode. Trying to find a light extended magazine is also advised though this won’t be needed as badly if you intend to use the weapon at longer ranges.
